...suggest a few things

Control Panel menu is not enabled by default, though my original settings 'display as a menu'. Pinned menu items were missing, for some reason. Make the interface smaller - I don't have more than 10 items in my (reorganized) 'All Programs' menu and it's ridiculous to use a Start Menu that occupies 40% of my screen real estate even when I put it at the minimal size!
